Easter Weekend 2012

Easter weekend was jam-packed full of Easter and spring birthday fun! On Friday we drove to my brothers house and got to visit with his family for the day. The cousins had a great time playing with each other. On Saturday, Grammy and Poppy met up with us for an Easter egg hunt then we went back to my brother's house to celebrate all the spring birthdays in our family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Magnolia was a very sweet big cousin and couldn't get enough of little Logan.

On Sunday, we were back home and the Easter Bunny had visited our house. Chris truly amazes me with his creativity. He created a pirate map for the boys to help them find their clues to find their baskets. Their clues required them to change costumes before looking for the next clue. The boys had a blast!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Later that day the weather was perfect for an outdoor egg hunt. Colin was really sweet and left most of the easy eggs for Eli to find and even gave him hints as to where to look.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, since we were out of town earlier in the weekend, we colored eggs that afternoon. Usually the boys really enjoy the coloring of eggs, but I think this year they were too distracted by their new toys and Chris and I ended up coloring most of the eggs ourselves. Needless to say, we didn't really finish all 2 dozen. I don't think the boys even noticed.
